21st September 2025

Building on that success, the 2025 Newbury Show took place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September and was described by organisers as “bigger and better than ever.” Visitor numbers rose compared with the year before, as the event continued to re-establish itself as one of the premier agricultural shows in the South of England.
The electrical infrastructure again played a crucial role in enabling the show to grow. All exhibitors were required to book power directly through our online booking system ensuring that every stand, from large machinery displays to small artisan food producers, received a reliable and tailored supply. For the larger trade areas, we designed and installed distribution boards capable of handling high loads, while smaller stands were supplied through compact, safe outlets suited to their needs. The network of buried cabling minimised trip hazards and allowed clear access routes for both visitors and livestock, while our standby engineers remained on call throughout the weekend to respond to any issues.
The flexibility of the system also meant that additional exhibitors and new attractions could be accommodated, even at a late stage. From high-powered cooking demonstrations in the food hall to the constant demand from refrigeration units, chillers and display lighting across hundreds of stands, the electrical distribution supported every part of the show.
The food hall once again proved to be a focal point for visitors, with producers showcasing everything from local delicacies to international flavours. Power provision allowed stallholders to focus on presentation and service without worrying about supply interruptions, while the LED lighting created a bright, vibrant environment that encouraged footfall.
Entertainment this year included jaw dropping displays from Bold Dog FMX and action packed speed from the British Lawn Mower Racing Association
