Excell Electrical was honoured to provide temporary power and event support for the first-ever commemoration of Operation TELIC at the National Memorial Arboretum, marking 15 years since the conclusion of the UK's military operations in Iraq. The poignant event brought together veterans, serving personnel, families, and supporters to reflect on the service, sacrifice, and lasting legacy of those involved.
Working closely with event organisers, Excell Electrical delivered the temporary power infrastructure required to support the day's proceedings, helping to ensure the commemorative event ran smoothly and safely. Supporting occasions of such national significance is a responsibility the company is proud to undertake.
The ceremony provided a fitting opportunity for remembrance and reflection, with attendees gathering to honour those who served during Operation TELIC. Adding to the occasion, guests witnessed a memorable flypast featuring a Chinook helicopter alongside locally based Spitfires, creating a powerful tribute to past and present generations of military personnel.
As the inaugural Operation TELIC commemoration at the Arboretum, the event held particular significance for all involved. Excell Electrical was privileged to play a part in delivering this historic occasion and helping create a meaningful environment for remembrance. Lest we forget.
