Another successful Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show is in the books – and we’re proud to have played a key role behind the scenes, keeping the showground powered throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
The 2026 Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show returned on Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August, bringing together the farming and rural communities of Kent, Surrey and Sussex for two packed days of livestock, equestrian competition, food, shopping, entertainment and family attractions.
We were once again trusted to manage the show's electricity requirements, providing the temporary power infrastructure needed to support exhibitors, traders, caterers, entertainment areas and essential site facilities, including emergency power for the mains supplied show office during an unplanned power cut in the days leading up to the main weekend.
The scale and variety of the Edenbridge & Oxted Show means that temporary power is about much more than simply connecting equipment. It requires careful planning, distribution, installation and ongoing technical support to ensure that different areas of the site can operate safely and efficiently.
The 2026 programme featured everything from livestock and equestrian competitions to horticulture, country sports, food and family entertainment. The Main Ring also welcomed The Knights of Middle England, who brought medieval jousting and trick riding to this year's show.
Behind every successful outdoor event is an enormous amount of infrastructure that visitors rarely see – and temporary power is a crucial part of making it all happen. we're proud to have supported another fantastic Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show and to have helped keep the showground ready for action throughout the weekend.
