30th September 2026
Excell Electrical are delighted to have once again provided temporary power solutions for the APF Forestry Exhibition, the UK's largest exhibition for the forestry, woodland and arboricultural industries. This year's event was particularly special as APF celebrated its 50th anniversary. The milestone provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the history and development of the sector, while looking ahead to the future and the continued advances in technology, machinery and sustainable forestry. Held at the stunning Ragley Hall estate in Warwickshire, the event brings together thousands of visitors and leading organisations from across the forestry and arboricultural sectors, showcasing the very latest machinery, technology and innovations.
With hundreds of exhibitors spread throughout the extensive showground, the electrical requirements are diverse, with power often required across large and sometimes challenging areas of the site. This requires careful planning and consideration when designing and installing the temporary electrical distribution system. Working closely with the event organisers, Excell strategically positioned generator sets and distribution equipment across the site, ensuring exhibitors had the reliable power they required while maintaining public thoroughfares, access routes and the overall appearance of the event.
The 50th anniversary exhibition provided a fantastic showcase of the industry, with visitors able to experience the latest forestry machinery and equipment alongside traditional woodland skills, live demonstrations and a packed programme of competitions and activities.
From chainsaw carving and machinery demonstrations to competitive events and traditional forestry skills, APF continues to provide a unique opportunity to experience the breadth of the forestry and arboricultural industries. The 50th anniversary was a fitting celebration of the show's long-standing contribution to the sector and its continued importance as a meeting place for professionals, manufacturers and enthusiasts.
Excell are proud to have played a part in powering such a significant event in the APF calendar and to have supported the organisers, exhibitors and visitors during this landmark 50th anniversary year. We look forward to continuing to provide reliable temporary power solutions for APF and supporting the event for many years to come.
