We specialise in providing complete event solutions starting with site surveys and liaising with contractors and other service providers. We work closely with event organisers, so they have the power required to ensure a seamless set-up. We then bring our full team on site to install and test all our supplies and have our own onsite manned office for any queries.
If your event involves exhibitors with stand power requirements, we have an online booking and payment gateway to ensure they get the power they require for the duration of the event. Our office staff can deal with enquiries and advise on requirements in advance and be on site to during the event to provide professional and efficient customer service.

ABR Festival at Ragley Hall is an annual event that celebrates adventure motorcycling, attracting enthusiasts from across the country. The festival has grown in popularity, necessitating reliable and efficient temporary power solutions to support its various activities and amenities. The event features a diverse range of activities, including live music, camping facilities, workshops, and exhibitor stalls. With attendees camping on-site for the duration of the festival, reliable power is essential to ensure the smooth running of operations and the comfort of guests. Excell have provided the power for the event for since 2022 and it has become one of the favourite events among the crew. The team behind the scenes is fantastic and the event itself is widely enjoyed by all who attend.
Designing and installing permanent electrical installations is one of the key services we as a company offer. When we were approached to improve the infrastructure on a Showground we designed a network which was adaptable to the many events held at the location. Designing and installing electrical feeder pillars and cabling to provide multiple electrical outlets at each location offering a versatile, usable and safe end product. The mains was re-designed and updated with new underground cabling installed. Using our own in-house team, we are able to undertake design, groundworks, installation testing and commissioning of the new systems.
Working with Bauer Media on the Rail Live event was a first for us in 2018. The event is an industry trade show specifically for companies involved within the rail industry. With live demonstrations, a large exhibition hall and many outside stands we were kept busy providing our services across the event site. Within the 90M exhibition hall we supplied 13Amp sockets to all stands and lit the blackout structure with our LED UFO light fittings creating a bright exhibition space. We also provided several large supplies for the air conditioning units within. The outside space is divided into several zones to which we supplied many exhibitors with their power requirements.
Excell Electrical have been providing power for the Royal Berkshire Show since 2014 and have built up extensive knowledge of the site, exhibitors and organising team. Last year, the event returned with a bang and new headline sponsors Ramsbury, after a short break following the effects of Covid-19. The weekend was a huge success and attracted visitors from far and wide, and was a tribute to the hard work put in by all the show team, volunteers and contractors alike. The new layout was an exciting challenge for Excell Electrical as we needed to find new locations for our network of generators and create a new distribution design. Working closely with team we discussed various options and came up with a final plan that was implemented successfully. We are excited to be involved once again for the 2024 show!
